Talkeez is not a HIPAA-covered entity. However, because we support communication, therapy, and special-education environments, we voluntarily follow HIPAA-aligned best practices to protect sensitive information.

How We Align With HIPAA Standards

• Encryption in transit and at rest
• Role-based access controls
• Secure authentication
• Audit logging
• Limited data access for staff
• Vendor security reviews
• No selling or sharing of personal information

Business Associate Agreements (BAAs)

If a district, clinic, or therapy provider requires a BAA, Talkeez can enter into one upon request.

What We Do Not Do

• We do not provide medical diagnoses
• We do not replace clinical judgment
• We do not use data to train public AI models
