Our Story

Talkeez began long before the first line of code.

A note from our founder, Josh Cassell

I've been a software developer since 2016, but in 2018 my life changed — my wife and I welcomed our child, who was later diagnosed with autism. As we navigated evaluations, therapies, IEP meetings, and daily communication with specialists, we kept running into the same problem:

Families and specialists didn't have the tools they needed. Information was scattered. Communication was inconsistent. And the people who cared the most — parents, teachers, therapists — were overwhelmed.

With my background in software and my experience as a parent, I realized I could build something that made this journey easier for families like mine and for the specialists who support the children we love.

That's where Talkeez was born.

Our Mission

To give every child a voice — and to empower the specialists who support them with tools that actually work.

We believe:

Talkeez exists to bridge the gap between home, school, and therapy.

What We're Building

We're creating tools that support the entire care ecosystem:

And we're just getting started.

Our Values

Why Districts, Therapists, and Families Trust Us

Because Talkeez isn't just software — it's personal.

We understand the emotional, logistical, and educational challenges families and specialists face. We've lived them. And we're committed to building tools that make a real difference.
